What is live resin?

  • The process, as well as the resulting concentrate, that is extracted from fresh cannabis plant material that was not dried or cured. This method is used to retain the terpenes that are lost during the drying and curing process. Why did we create Refined Live Resin™?

  • Our Refined Live Resin process was created to remove impurities, bring out the best aromatic compounds, retain the flowers natural diversity of cannabinoids, create the longest shelf life possible, and ensure the cartridge works as intended. The impurities we remove would normally create a darker color in the oil, do not contribute to the aroma, decrease potency by acting as a filler, often clog the wick, and decrease the efficacy of the heating element.

What is distillate?

  • Distillate is a cannabis extract in which the final product has been systematically stripped of all materials and compounds except one specific cannabinoid. By definition, Raw Garden’s product is not distillate.  If you review the test results of our Refined Live Resin ™ you will see that there are a plethora of cannabinoids (THC, THC-V, CBD, CBG, CBN) in our products. Most distillate is made from dried remnant cannabis material, commonly referred to as Trim.
